“Do not let transitory things of the earth have attraction for you. They will cause you pain. All objects of this place are like the magician’s magic, always changing now assuming one form and the next instant another. Do not therefore allow yourself to be misled by false appearances. Krishna alone is unchangeable and enternal. Learn therefore to love Him and you will never have occasion to mourn a loss. For that can never be lost and remains always the same.”
“এ ক্ষণস্থায়ী পৃথিবীর কোন দ্রব্যকেই প্রাণ দিও না, তাহা হইলে কাতর হইতে হইবে। এ স্থানের সকল দ্রব্যই বাজিকরের বাজি মাত্র, এখনই এক রকম, এখনই আর এক রকম, তাই বলি এ ভ্রান্তিতে ভুলে থেক না। একমাত্র কৃষ্ণই অপরিবর্তনশীল ও চিরস্থায়ী, অতএব তাঁকে ভালবাসিতে শিক্ষা কর, কখনই হারাইয়া কাঁদিতে হইবে না, কেননা, যে জিনিষ কখনই হারান যায় না, সে চিরদিন সমান ভাবে থাকে ।”
