“It is not proper to think that few children in my charge are my own and others not. Children were given to me a thousand times before and I had to leave them each time. The present children also have to be left likewise. Why should we not make the whole world our own and live for all? The whole world has been connected with us in previous births, and truly we are their kindred. Let us therefore live for the poor and thus please Krishna who wants nothing more.”
“আজ এই জীবনে যে কয়টি পুত্র কন্যা পাইয়াছি সে গুলিই কেবল আমার নয় , কেন না , এমন পুত্রকন্যা পূর্ণ সংসার কত লক্ষবারই পাইয়াছি , আর ছাড়িয়াছি , আজ যা’দিগকে পাইয়াছি তা’দিগকে আবার ছাড়িব । যা’দিগকে পূর্বে পূৰ্ব্বে ছেড়ে এসেছি তাদের জন্য ত একবারও ভাবি না , তাদের কথা তো একবারও মনে করে দুঃখিত হই না , তেমনই আবার আজ যা’দিগকে পাইয়াছি তা’দিগকেও ভুলিব তারাও আমাদিগকে ভুলিবে তবে আর কেন এই দু’চার জনের জন্য বৃথা চিন্তা করি , কেন জগৎকে নিজের না মনে করি , এ জগতের সবাই আমার আর আমিও সকলের । সেই জন্যই নিবেদন , গরিব দুঃখীর মা বাপ হয়ে প্রাণে অপার শান্তি পান , আর সেই কৃষ্ণকে আনন্দ দেন, এ বই আর তিনি কিছুই চান না ।“
