We feel blessed and happy to introduce to the world through this website, the advent of Love in the form of Haranath, who was endearingly known as Pagal Haranath.
Haranath was born on 1st July, 1865 (Bengali, 18th Asadh 1272) in West Bengal and withdrew from the physical world on 25th May 1927. He was a unique advent that made the relationship between God and man as very personal. During His sojourn He performed many miracles to help and save His devotees, such as reviving the dead, saving people from mortal diseases etc. But the greatest miracle that endeared Him to His devotees was His capacity to attract the people treading the path of sin and put them on the path of Love. He was a great Reformer and a Saviour. In the history of mankind, such merciful advents have been very few; Jesus Christ, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu & Prabhu Nithyananda duo, Saint Ramanuja were few such advents who attracted sinners to the path of Love.
Haranath did not establish any cult. The letters that He wrote to His devotees are the source of inspiration to the aspirants. We quote below a few of His quotations to just show how He made the relationship between God and man as Universal religion.

“Hate sin, but not the sinner.”
“The Master of this world is only One, call Him Shakti or Siva or Vishnu . Call Him by any name your heart dictates; it matters not in the least. But to forget Him is by no means wise.” (He gave the form of Krishna to His devotees to worship)

“God is everywhere and all-mercy. Please love Him and fear Him not. He is an object of Love and not of fear.”
“Life in the world is like rest in a traveller’s inn. If for flimsy reasons, it is spent in controversies, the traveler will find lack of energy to resume the journey the next day.”

The followers of Haranath believe that Haranath is the continuation of Avatar of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. This is corroborated from the many events that took place in the life of Haranath and also from the messages released during the celebrations of His birth dates.
His consort Kusum Kumari was born on 14th December 1870 (Bengali, 30th Aghrahayana or Aghrahayana Sankranti 1277) and carried on His message of Love till her sojourn which ended on 14th August 1956.
What Do others say on Haranath…

“I should think the Books (Pagal Haranath Letters) are well worth perusal, specially by those who are trying to rise above the material, above even the astral and lower mental, into the higher life by the chastening of all that is perishable so as to ultimately take from it all its power over the true Divine Man.” – C.E. Nelson (Gen. Secy. South African Theosophical Society)
“In 1936 somehow, I got a copy of “Pagal Haranath” letters. I searched for the meaning of “Pagal”.. I could understand its meaning is “Mad”. I wondered how a book title could be “Mad Haranath”.. on going through and through the contents on the letters written by “Haranath”, I could get the inner meaning of “Pagal”.. I was totally become restless within. The contents and the way “Haranath” dealt with the subjects in multifold, really touches the hearts of the reader. I started reading them again and again. Every time, a new thought and approach found in the same letter day after day. The contents not only elevate the thinking, but the soul filling satisfaction also emerge. After this, I started contacting a few devotees or followers of Sree Haranath and one gentleman by name Sri ARK Sastry from south of India, shared his collections and really gave me enormous bliss of happiness. With the material on hand, I realised Sree Haranath had super powers like omnipresence, omniscient, clairvoyance that only an avatar can have. The way He took the burden of Sins of the mankind, resembles not only Jesus but more. The followers are very fortunate to be in the shelter of such a Supreme Avatar Sree Haranath” – Thomas Richard Duncan Greenlees (1899–1966) [was a British writer, theosophist and teacher. received his MA degree in 1922 from Oxford, during 1925 he was a staff member of Harvard University/Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition to Giza in Egypt. Greenlees was appointed Assistant Curator of Egyptian Art at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. On completion of his studies, he moved to India, working as a schoolteacher (he taught English at Madanpalle High School) and was a headmaster in South India from 1926 onwards.]

“Sree Krishna played with some, others with some more- now Lord of Love Sree Kusum Haranath has begun to play with people of all religions, creeds, sects in the World. He demonstrated what Love (Prema the selfless Love) is and said, that He Himself descended out of Mercy from His heavenly abode in human form, to reach everyone to teach Prema. He did not establish a new religion or cult, but came to broaden our outlook, to deepen our love for the Lord and His creation, to further strengthen our hope of attaining the Supreme and to inspire us with a new feeling of peace and absolute security. Jesus lived and died for the redemption of mankind. Lord Sree Kusum Haranath took again and again the burdens of sins and miseries on His head. He said, “to Love the Lord of Love is our birth-right”. He proved, that love is not only the greatest force, but the one object to pursue in human life-the goal of human beings, the acquisition of which raises the mind above misery. He said “my inner and outer selves are different. I am never simple, can never be. Can anyone know and realise by thinking what is beyond the realm of thinking? Do not think of me. But do not forget me. Know that you cannot awaken love for Me-only I can do that. I shall choose my own flock.” He said “Take any Divine Name that melts your heart. Know that the Name is His. The Prema can be generated only through taking Name.” – Ruth Baur (Germany)
“A man possessing much gold is a wealthy man, but before he may purchase anything he must first change some of the gold into current coinage then he may obtain the object of his choice immediately, Similarly, Krishna’s Name is as pure gold, wealth in an absolute sense. By transmuting it into current coinage, by altering its vibration to “KusumaHaranath”, it achieves everything immediately. In effect there is no more powerful Mantra in this Kali Age than the divine Name of “KusumaHaranath”. Lord Haranath showed us that by remembering Krishna constantly we shall finally overcome the tendency of the mind to identify itself with the external world and the objects within it, thus turning it inward to contemplate the true form of the universe, which is consciousness (Krishna)”- Kenneth Grant (23 May 1924 – 15 January 2011) was an English ceremonial magician and prominent advocate of the Thelemic religion. A poet, novelist, and writer, he founded his own Thelemic organisation, the Typhonian Ordo Templi Orientis—later renamed the Typhonian Order—with his wife Steffi Grant.
