Letter No. 8

To, Sudhi Ranjan Seth:

     Death-like snake poison, at times, becomes the restorer of life. Your own life should verify this. Therefore undergo such immense troubles with a joyful heart. Proceed calmly and resolutely, and come out of the ordeal successful. Work in such a manner that every one is pleased with your work. Do not give any body an opportunity of making remarks. Never, when you can help it, try to involve any one in trouble, or think of doing so. Vicious thoughts are more potent for evil, than vicious deeds. Therefore always spend your time in good thoughts. Whenever you find time, seek solitude, and there think of Krishna’s blessed feet and His sweet name. When you cannot find a suitable companion, stay alone.
