“By showing mercy to all beings, one acquires a taste for the Lord’s name; and by continuing to take Name the mercy of the great souls is acquired which is far greater in value than the mercy of Krishna Himself. Attaining to Krishna, one gets liberation, but getting the favours of a devotee of Krishna, one gets Krishna Himself. Hence the company of a Devotee of Krishna is much greater in value than the company of Krishna.”

“সর্ব্ব জীবে দয়া করিতে করিতে কৃষ্ণ নামে রুচি হয় এবং নামে রুচি হইলেই নাম করিতে করিতে মহতের দয়া হয়; মহতের দয়া কৃষ্ণ কৃপা অপেক্ষাও দুর্মূল্য। কৃষ্ণকে পাইলেই জীব মুক্তি পায়, কিন্তু কৃষ্ণভক্তকে পাইলে জীব স্বয়ং কৃষ্ণকে পায়। অতএব কৃষ্ণ পাওয়া অপেক্ষা কৃষ্ণভক্তের সঙ্গ মূল্যবান্‌; নাম করিতে করিতে কেবল ভক্ত সঙ্গ পাওয়া যায়।”
