Accumulation of wealth does not mark the man; expenditure on laudable objects does. Do not be anxious for worldly pleasure and enjoyments. Regard your parents as gods on earth and tend them. Consider the females of the whole world as of the sovereign race. Never be deceived by regarding your wife as one insignificant or trifling. Be kind to sinners.”

“যৎসামান্য লাভে সুখী হইবে, অসদুপায়ে অর্থ চেষ্টা করিবে না, নিজ অর্জ্জিত কতক অংশ সদ্‌ ব্যয়ে লাগাইবে। অর্থ সঞ্চয় করা মনুষ্যত্ব নয়, অর্থের উপযুক্ত ব্যবহার করাই প্রকৃত মনুষ্যত্ব মনে করিবে। পার্থিব আয়াস আরামের জন্য লালায়িত হইবে না। মাকে বাপকে এই পৃথিবীর দেবতা মনে করিয়া সেবা করিবে। জগতের স্ত্রীমাত্রকেই রাজার জাতি মনে করিও, স্ত্রীকে কদাচ সামান্য মনে করিয়া প্রতারিত হইও না। পাপীর প্রতি দয়া করিও।”
