“আমি যে কি, সে শুধু আমিই জানি। এ বড় ঠিক কথা যে আমি যতটা আমাকে চিনি অন্যে তাহা কিছুতেই পারে না; পারিবার উপায়ও নাই। ভেবে কি তাহার নাগাল পাওয়া যায়, ভাবনার যাহা অতীত? সে জন্যই নিজের বিষয়ে আমি যাহা বলি বেশ মন দিয়া তাহা শুনিও এবং বুঝিতে চেষ্টা পাইও।”
