“Wife is the chief helpmate in every state of life, in religion, wealth, desire, liberation. She can lead us to hell and also to liberation. Hence we ought not to cherish the idea of showing disrespect to her. Show due respect to every woman. Hence never show disrespect to wife, whatever she might be. It is the women who stand at the entrance and exit to conduct us to our desired destination. Never try to beat them in any game.”

“ধৰ্ম্ম, অর্থ, কাম, মােক্ষ সকল অবস্থাতেই স্ত্রী আমার প্রধান সহায়, আমি যদি নরকে যাইতে চাই তিনিই লইয়া যাইবেন, আর স্বর্গপথও তিনিই দেখাইয়া দেন,  বৈরাগ্য ও মােক্ষপদ তাঁরাই দেখাইতে পারেন, এই কারণে তাঁদের অবমাননা করিতে ইচ্ছা কখনও করিতে নাই । জগতের সকল স্ত্রীকেই যথাযথ মান্য করিতে ভুলিও না । তাই বলি, স্ত্রী যেমনই হউন, তাহার অমান্য করিবে না । তাঁরাই যা’বার আসিবার পথে দাঁড়াইয়া আমাদিগকে নিজ নিজ ঈপ্সিত স্থানে লইয়া যাইতেছেন। তাঁরা সকল খেলাই জানেন, এই জন্য তাঁদের সহিত উল্টা খেলা খেলিতে যাইবে না ।”
