The Promises Prabhu made :
“Even if you forget me I won’t forget you.” “Even if you leave me I won’t leave you.” Such promises only a Supreme Brahman can make and fulfill the same.
Haranath never broke any promise made by him. Prabhu made it known that if a devotee, maintaining some connection with him, approached him with a pure heart; he was bound to receive Haranath’s love and mercy someday. Further he proclaimed that he would bear the burden of the sins of a devotee. He also declared, “I have only love with me – whether you love me or not, I love you all. Treat me as the youngest member of your family. See whether I will provide you joy or not – Lay all the burdens and miseries on my shoulder and tell others to do so. I came with a strong neck for this.”

Ratilal Tribhovandas Zaveri, father of Kishore Zaveri of New Delhi, had the interesting habit of visiting, without fail, every Sadhu Mahatma who happened to be in town. Members of the Zaveri family, as already mentioned elsewhere, have been the devotees of Haranath Prabhu. Ratilal kept many photos of mahatmas in his bed room. When he was bed-ridden, a special nurse was engaged to attend on him round the clock. One day she was heard shrieking at the top of her voice and the family members rushed into the patient’s room to know what happened. Pointing out to Haranath’s photo she told them, “He came just now and holding Ratilal’s hand, led him out of the room, just before my very eyes.” They then noticed Ratilal’s body lying on the bed motionless. He had died. Haranath Prabhu promised Ratilal that he would be beside him when his end came. Haranath fulfilled the promise. The nurse, but not the family members, was fortunate to have seen Haranath. This is one of the many miraculous deeds (Leelas) of Prabhu. (As told by Tulasidas Banerjee – Grandson of Thakur Haranath.)
