Haranath-Unfathomable Ocean of Prema By P. Ramadas

JAYA SREE KUSUM HARANATH

Lord Haranath is an unfathomable ocean of Prema. Thousands have tasted the nectar of His Divine love during His sojourn in flesh and blood. Unworthy as I am, it has been my good fortune to enjoy His blessed love and receive His supreme mercy. It is all due to the Lord’s grace.

Whenever I ponder over the Lord’s mysterious Leela, my soul enjoys solace, my mind receives strength and my heart is flooded with joy. A mere mortal cannot imagine the trouble which the Lord had undergone in choosing His children – the blood which He shed in redeeming the sins of sinners, the unbearable suffering which He suffered in His body in curing the incurable diseases of His children and the love with which He is Row attracting thousands of devotees to His sweet embrace like an Avatar of Prema.

Lord Haranath shared our pains and pleasures as our constant friend, fulfilled our desires as the fabled Kalpataru saved us from grave dangers and showered His blessings on us without our knowing it.

His child-like simplicity discloses His Gopal Bhav and His mixing and dining with even low caste people reveals His Universal Love. Can I ever forget His smiling face, His loving embrace and His kind treatment? Many have observed and are observing that our Lord follows His devotees like a cow that follows its calf, and guards them like an eye-lid that protects the eye. Many have experienced that Lord Haranath is saving us even without our knowledge.

My boy fell in a well. A Motor bus dashed the cart in which my family travelled. My father was bitten by a poisonous snake. I escaped from the jaws of death recently at Chicacole. Have not our Heavenly Father and Holy Mother Kusum Kumari Devi saved us from the dangers narrated above?

The one great miracle which the Lord has performed in the case of many is the total change of their outlook on life. I was not attracted by any of His supernatural deeds at first nor had I heard of them previously. It was only His unbounded and unselfish Prema that attracted me and infused love in my heart towards Him. Such a beloved Lord was gracious enough to write some letters steeped in Prema to this humble self. Some of them are published in this small book. The significance which I understood in those lines and some stray thoughts that came in consequence are recorded. As every life of His child is so inexplicable with the Leela of Lord, I cannot but divulge some of my experiences of Lord’s Love and care. I frankly admit that I have not dived deep into the ocean of the Lord’s Prema but I faintly seek to express a fraction of His love like a child with my faltering words about Lord Haranath whose Prema Tattwa is beyond the reach of human comprehension.
