Birth and Death:

“Play whatever you like, but remember that you are the Lord’s own, that you have come to the stage as per desire of the Lord. (Part V, Letter 268)
Brother, in this drama we will play the roles we have come to play; as soon as the drama is over, we will go behind the screen; again we will come out in new dresses. Out of our ignorance, we call this only as ‘birth and death’ and are scared. May the Lord never allow this wrong apprehension to enter our heart – may we hold His order with respect – ‘come and go’ with smiles. May we be allowed to be born as one belonging to Him in each birth. (Part IV, Letter 50)”

জন্ম ও মৃত্যু :

“তোমার ইচ্ছানুসারে তুমি খেলিয়া যাও, কিন্তু মনে রাখিবে, তুমি তাঁ’র আপনার জন, তুমি কৃষ্ণের ইচ্ছাতেই এখানে খেলিতে আসিয়াছ। (পত্রাবলী ৫ম খন্ড, ২৬৮ নং পত্র)
ভাই, এ নাটকে যে যাহা খেলিতে আসিয়াছি, খেলে যাইব, খেলা শেষ হলেই, পর্দ্দার অন্তরালে চ’লে গিয়ে, আবার নূতন সাজে সাজিয়া বাহির হইব। ইহাকেই আমরা ভ্রমক্রমে ‘জন্ম-মৃত্যু’ বলি, ও ভয় পাই। প্রভু যেন আমাদের এ ভুল কখনও হৃদয়ে আসিতে না দেন; আমরা যেন তাঁর হুকুম শিরে ধ’রে হাসিতে হাসিতে ‘আসি যাই’। জনমে জনমে যেন তাঁর হইয়া আসিতে পাই।”(পত্রাবলী ৪র্থ খন্ড, ৫০ নং পত্র)
