“It is easy to pull out a sprout however big it is but when it becomes a big tree the uprooting will leave its mark. Similarly the anger; if it is allowed to grow strong, it will leave a nasty mark in the heart, if at all you succeeded to remove it. Passion, anger and similar enemies, once they find entry into the system, do not want to leave it and when driven out, leave destruction behind. Therefore do not permit such enemies into your heart.”

“অঙ্কুরে যেমনই প্রকান্ড বৃক্ষ হউক, বিনা ক্লেশে উঠাইয়া ফেলা যায়, কিন্তু একটু বড় হইলে, তাহাকে উঠাইলে যেমন চিরদিনের মত চিহ্ন রাখিয়া রাখিয়া যায়, ক্রোধও তেমনি একটু বড় হইলে উঠান শক্ত হয় এবং কোন রকমে উঠাইলেও একটি ভয়ানক চিহ্ন রাখিয়া যায়। কাম, ক্রোধ প্রভৃতি শত্রুগণ একবারমাত্র শরীরে স্থান পাইলে প্রায় যায় না, আর কোন রকমে যদি তাড়ান যায়, তাহা হইলে শরীরকে একেবারে নষ্ট করিয়াই যায়। তাই বলি, এমন শত্রুকে কদাচ শরীরে বাস করিতে দিবেন না। যদি কখনও আসে, সঙ্গে সঙ্গে তাড়াইয়া দিবার চেষ্টা করিবেন।”
