“Just as when a great person is invited, we clean and decorate our house inside and outside, so also in order to receive Krishna, we must thoroughly clean inside and outside. We should always think of Him and mix with His favourites. In order to please Him, we should try to relieve the miseries of others and help them to the best of our means.”

“কোন বড় লোককে নিমন্ত্রণ করিয়া নিজ বাড়ীতে আনিবার পূর্ব্বে, গৃহের ভিতর বাহির পরিষ্কার করিতে হয় এবং সদাই তাঁ’র খাতির যত্নের বিষয়ে চিন্তা করিতে হয়, তেমনই কৃষ্ণকে আনিতে হ’লে নিজ ঘরের অন্তর বাহির খুব পরিষ্কার করিতে হইবে এবং অহরহঃ তাঁ’র চিন্তাতেই মগ্ন থাকিতে হ’বে, আর তাঁর মনের মত মানুষ ২ / ১ জন নিজ সঙ্গেই রাখিতে হইবে। আপনাকে তাঁ’র তুষ্টির জন্য দয়াময় হ’তে হবে, গরীব দুঃখীর কষ্ট দেখিয়া কাতর হইতে হইবে এবং যেখানে সাধ্য নিজ শক্তি অনুরূপ তা’দের দুঃখ দূর করিতে হ’বে।”
