“Thought is the cause of bondage and liberation. The lighter the thought, the higher it raises the thinker; the heavier it is, the more it bears him down. When by constant repetition of Name, the heart is purified, the all-loving Krishna will make it His habitat. He will come even when not called for and will not leave even when asked to go. The joy of that state is beyond description.”

“চিন্তাই বন্ধন ও মোক্ষের কারণ, চিন্তা যত হাল্কা হইবে, চিন্তাশীলকে তত উর্দ্ধদিকে লইয়া যাইবে, আর চিন্তা যত ভারী হইবে ততই অধঃপতন হইবে। তাই বলি, সদ্‌ চিন্তার দ্বারা হৃদয় শুদ্ধ হইলে সেই পরম মঙ্গলময় কৃষ্ণ সদা হৃদয়ে বাস করিবেন, তখন তাঁহাকে না ডাকিলেও সে আসিবে, তাড়াইলেও যাইতে চাহিবে না। সেই সময়ের আনন্দ বলিয়া বুঝান যায় না, করে দেখুন বুঝিতে পারিবেন।”
