World Message 1925

Message delivered at Puri, 1925 AD
To,
All My Dear Mothers and Fathers
all over India and elsewhere

♦    Today is an auspicious day. New waves have appeared in the ocean of My life. Wherever I turn My eyes, I find all joy; all are maddened with the same intoxication; all are drowned in the same joy.

♦    Already have I written on former occasions and today also I write again. But where can I find the language to express My feelings? A single sentence uttered by a mad man sets the Pundits thinking and they try to establish the natural meaning thereof. You also find the natural meaning out of these meaningless talks of Mine and circulate that which is true.

♦    It is true that I do talk like a mad man, but know this much that My talk is not meaningless. A mad man alone would understand and take delight in a mad man’s words.

♦    I only know what I am. Verily do I say that it is impossible for others to know me as well as I now Myself. Even there are no means to know Me. Can any one know and realize by thinking that which is beyond the realm of thinking? Therefore do I say mark well what I say about Myself.

♦    In this world I am being brought up in the love of numberless mothers and fathers. Who can be so fortunate as Myself? Not only in name they are mothers and fathers but also they are love and affection incarnate.

♦    You are My life. You are My everything. You have kept Me bound down here. My staying here without you is impossible. Only for you have I forgotten everything. Even if this body remains or not, I am and shall remain yours alone. Do not forget that my pleasure and pain are mixed up with your pleasures and pains also.

♦    Today I give out a secret of My heart. I do not find anything new in Puri. Even the people are not strangers to Me. Methinks everything is well known to Me since a remote past. Even all the roads and ghats have been seen by Me long ago. It maddens Me to speak this out. I could not keep it a secret any longer.

♦    “Hide and seek” is really charming. This play is meant for pleasure only; if pleasure does not ensue, where then is the use of the play?

♦    I have come to play only and shall play forever. Everything of this universe is Mine and Myself am of everything as well. The whole universe is encompassed by this play.

♦    I know well that in this My play not a single being has suffered pain in any degree whatever; on the contrary many have derived pleasure therefrom. This play is a difficult one. Do not mar it in an unguarded moment, even by mistake do not once try to find out the end of the play.

♦    I do not know how long such condition will remain. I cannot desire to give up this charming play.

♦    I have come here since many days, keeping awake for many nights have I acted My part; now I desire to rest a while.

♦    I do not think it can be said that now much remains of this play here. I feel the bonds are slowly becoming loose, as if the knots are on again in a new dress for a new play. But whenever I think of your affection I do not desire to leave this place. You are Mine, you remain in happiness. Then only there shall be happiness in My going as well as in My coming back.

♦    Again and again shall I come into this world, thus shall we meet together; again shall we change the scene and commence again a new play. Do not be anxious even if this body does not remain. There will be no obstruction to the play. Wherever we go, we shall be united; the separation will be for a moment only. None need be anxious on that account. They only cry who are lost and not found. We have no such fear; we shall be united again. That there will be separation amongst us is impossible.

♦    Do not think you will be counted as an accomplished actor simply because you can act well in this one play only. And when there are endless plays, do not believe that you can act well in all these plays. Be the attached person of Him, who is at the head of all the plays, anyhow be His dearest; then you shall become an accomplished actor even if you have not played a single play. Then you shall be loved by all, then you shall not have to perform any act, but shall ever remain near the Master. Therefore do I say, do not think that only the play of this life is the first and the last of plays.

♦    Those alone that have realized this play remain satisfied; they alone experience real happiness. A Well-played part in this drama would as well make the audience happy as ourselves. Let others play their own games. You mind your own.

♦    Do not laugh at Me by taking for nothing all this talk of Mine. Do not think that I am talking as if I were mad. Constantly ponder over it and you will realize whether it is true or not.

♦    There is nothing to keep secret with Me. I have given out everything.

♦    Now there is no time to waste in smiling smiles of falsehood. Do not remain mistaken. Still there is time; it would do even if you are careful from now.

♦    My only desire is that you all throw your respective burdens on Me and move on still faster.

♦    Be careful; again I say be careful now. This is my only desire and final request.

Yours affectionately,

Hara
